ALG Vacations revealed that it would launch its first luxury
collection this month, dubbed Luxe by ALG Vacations.
According to Travel Weekly, Luxe by ALG Vacations will boast
almost 450 luxury hotels and concierge services in key travel destinations,
including Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and parts of Asia and Africa.
In addition to creating a premier luxury travel resource for
travel advisors, ALG Vacations handpicked the all-inclusive resorts and
five-star hotels in the collection, which features the Four Seasons,
Ritz-Carlton and Waldorf Astoria brands.
Through a dedicated Luxe by ALG Vacations website, advisors
will have the chance to work with a team of 10 specially-trained customer
service representatives. Travel agents can book the collection across the
company’s six brands, including Funjet Vacations and Travel Impressions.
“You'll see who those people are, you'll read their bios,
it's like building a relationship, just like you would with a concierge team at
a hotel,” ALG Vacations' global head of trade brands Jacki Marks told TW. “That
is probably the thing we're most excited about, we're going to have an elevated
level of service.”
In addition to relationships with big-name hotels and
resorts, the Luxe collection will also highlight smaller, independent boutique
hotels. In addition, the service will offer exclusive amenities at select
properties, such as experiences, tours, dining reservations and more.
“These luxury advisors were really able to point out where
we needed to have more product in each destination,” Marks continued.
