AVA Airways has chosen APG as its Global General Sales Agent and GDS host. APG's ACCESS product will allow agents to see and book AVA Airways flights in every major GDS including those in China and Russia, as well as settle ticket sales in their local BSPs and ARC in the USA.
In addition, APG will be representing AVA in seventy countries, providing local support and promotion of the airline to over 100,000 agents, travel management companies, consolidators and online travel agencies.
AVA CEO the Ambassador Olivier Arrindell, who executed this agreement in the offices of APG in Paris this week, said, "I am pleased with the resources and expertise that the APG Network will bring to the AVA Airways Team as we work together in the coming months to build this global airline from our Dominican Republic hub."
"APG is delighted to partner with Ava Airways in this very broad and deep relationship that will provide quality and affordable air transportation throughout the Americas, Africa and Europe next year," said Sandrine de Saint Sauveur, President and CEO at APG.
Arrindell will be attending the 12th Annual APG World Connect Distribution Conference held at the Monaco Bay Resort, October 27-29. One hundred airline Senior Managers typically attend this conference for three days, annually.
