Destinations announced it would offer a $25 gift card for each FIT land
booking in honor of National Travel Advisor Day on May 3 and National Travel
Advisor Month.
Travel agents will be eligible for the gift card for each booking
of $5,000 or more made between May 1 and May 31 for travel any time before
December 31 and paid with at least a deposit on land arrangements by the end of
May.
The offer applies to each booking over the minimum
qualifying value and there is no limit to the number of gift cards an advisor
can earn. Bookings can be made through the official Avanti website or by
calling the company’s reservation center.
“Our travel advisor partners are the cornerstone of Avanti’s
success,” Avanti chairman Paul Barry said. “We want them to know how much we
appreciate their hard work.”
Avanti creates and sells custom-built independent and group
travel in Europe, Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South
America exclusively through travel advisors.
In March, the wholesale tour operator revealed that Tenerife,
the largest of Spain's Canary Islands, was the newest addition to Avanti’s lineup
of European vacation spots for independent travelers.
The company also announced a joint campaign with Tenerife
Tourist Corporation to educate advisors on the island's many cultural and natural
attractions.
