Digital Events & Seminars, a division of travAlliancemedia, concluded the first day of their 2015 Agent@Home Expo with 1,100 home-based travel agents attending to get the information they need to better market themselves and their businesses and increase their travel sales. The Agent@Home Expo is the largest online show for home-based agents in the industry today.
Fiften suppliers and destinations signed on to make sure that these agents knew who they were, what they sold and gave them the tools they needed to help agents better sell their product or destination to their clients. These suppliers support the home-based travel market, knowing fully well that only 5 percent of travel agents ever make it to a physical event.
Where else can agents get the information they need to succeed? The Agent@Home Expo. By creating this socially driven platform, we have replicated the physical event experience but from the convenience of a travel agent's home or office. As one agent, Linda Akers stated during the expo, " I'm going dizzy - this is as good as face to face in a trade show. Thank you for putting this together!"
Day one of the expo included a live webinar presentation, "Selling the Luxury Resort Experience" with Elegant Hotels & Resorts and Grand Lucayan. Almost 400 agents got to virtually experience their properties through live presentations and discover all they have to offer their clients.
