Travel agents in Jersey City, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Minneapolis will be wowed by the magic of New Zealand this October in a training roadshow hosted by Tourism New Zealand. With Air New Zealand's newest non-stop service from Chicago to Auckland beginning on 30 November 2018, New Zealand has never been more accessible and desired by American travelers.
From October 8-11, 2018, agents and travel sellers can join New Zealand regional destinations for evenings of networking, product updates, delicious cuisine and award-winning New Zealand wines.
Attending agents will discover the range of quality experiences that await travelers on both islands, including in Northland, Auckland, Wellington, Wairarapa, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, and the West Coast. Operators from Pure Southern Land, Thermal Explorer Highway, and Pacific Coast Highway will also be present.
"By bringing the many wonderful destinations of New Zealand to these markets, agents can experience New Zealand's culture and hospitality first-hand while also learning about products and offerings to help grow their New Zealand business," says Tourism New Zealand Senior Trade Manager, Michelle Rosenberg.

Attending agents are eligible to receive credit for a training, which is a requirement to reach Silver or Gold status in the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Program.
Benefits of obtaining status include a preferential listing on our consumer website, newzealand.com, and credibility with clients through a certificate and use of the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist logo.
"By joining the program travel sellers gain access to what is essentially free advertising on our consumer website which is visited more than 30 million times a year," says Rosenberg.
Specialists can also plan and book their own independent familiarization trip with the Explore PLUS Program, which offers more than 500 air, land, accommodation and attraction discounts to design a personally curated New Zealand itinerary.
