Silversea has kicked off its 2026-2027 Antarctica season, with Silver Endeavour departing from King George Island and Silver Wind setting sail from Puerto Williams, Chile.
Through March 2027, Silver Endeavour, Silver Wind and Silver Cloud will operate 40 voyages ranging from six to 21 nights. The program includes 29 Antarctica Fly Cruise itineraries, each featuring a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South, Silversea’s new hotel in Puerto Williams.
The season’s itineraries will explore the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands, with some voyages also venturing south of the Antarctic Circle.
“Antarctica is central to Silversea’s expedition program, and this season gives guests even greater choice in how they reach it,” says Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea.

Of the 29 Antarctica Fly Cruise itineraries, 14 will operate roundtrip aboard Silver Endeavour, with guests flying across the Drake Passage in both directions. The remaining 15 one-way itineraries aboard Silver Wind, Silver Cloud and Silver Endeavour will combine a flight in one direction with a sea crossing of the Drake Passage in the other.
All Antarctica Fly Cruise voyages include charter flights, expedition experiences and Zodiac outings.
Each itinerary also includes a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams, with Silversea-branded charter flights connecting the hotel and expedition program to Santiago, Chile. The company says the private charter provides the only direct flight between Chile’s capital and Puerto Williams.
Voyages Beyond the Peninsula
Eleven additional voyages will cross the Drake Passage by ship in both directions, departing from Puerto Williams.
Highlights include Silver Wind’s 18-night roundtrip voyage departing November 7, which will visit the Falkland Islands before continuing to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula.
Silver Cloud will operate four 15-night voyages combining South Georgia, Elephant Island and the Antarctic Peninsula, beginning November 9. A separate 12-night Silver Cloud itinerary departing December 9 will include a day south of the Antarctic Circle.
Silver Wind will also operate a 15-night holiday voyage departing December 22 that visits the Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia.
The season’s longest itinerary will be a 21-night Silver Endeavour voyage departing March 4, 2027. The sailing will travel from Puerto Williams to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia, visit the Falkland Islands and Puerto Madryn, Argentina, and conclude in Buenos Aires.
New Hotel in Puerto Williams
The Cormorant at 55 South will welcome its first guests during the 2026-2027 season, serving as a gateway for Silversea’s Antarctica Fly Cruise program. The company will hold the hotel’s official grand opening on November 5.
The property will offer activities including kayaking on the Beagle Channel, guided hikes on Navarino Island and horseback excursions led by a local Patagonian guide.
Its main restaurant, Latitude 55, will serve family-style meals inspired by Patagonian cuisine, while Bar Sur will offer Chilean wines and cocktails made with local ingredients. Silversea expedition specialists will also rotate through the hotel to help guests prepare for their Antarctic journeys.
