This fall, Alaska Airlines is revamping its in-flight menu in economy class.
The Seattle-based carrier plans to add a new lineup of dishes from Pacific Northwest brands to its Main Cabin menu, starting September 2.
On its breakfast menu, Alaska is adding a new continental breakfast plate featuring Seattle brand Ellenos’ Marionberry yogurt, a blueberry tea loaf, and fresh fruit.
The carrier will also add two new hot breakfast sandwiches to round out its early morning lineup.
A pretzel bun chicken sausage breakfast sandwich with a fried egg and Havarti cheese will be available on eastbound domestic flights and westbound flights to Hawaii.
Its new turkey bacon and Tillamook cheddar breakfast sandwich with fried egg on a brioche bun will be served on westbound domestic and eastbound flights to Hawaii.
Alaska will also add a new lunch option from popular Seattle salad brand Evergreens: a spicy kale Caesar salad. The fresh selection includes romaine lettuce, kale, diced chicken breast, grape tomatoes, fresh jalapeños, aged parmesan, Caesar dressing, sunflower seeds, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Additional new lunch and dinner options include a warm tamari tofu bowl, a chicken salad croissant sandwich with a side of apple slices and grapes, and green curry with chicken. The last dish will only be offered on flights to and from Hawaii.
All of the new options are now available for pre-order for flights departing September 2 and later through the Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines mobile app.
