Delta
Air Lines announced the launch of new nonstop service to Phoenix and the
winter expansion of its Austin to Bozeman route.
Starting November 9, 2026, Delta will launch twice-daily
nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Phoenix
(PHX) with
easy access to destinations like Scottsdale and Sedona.
The Austin to Bozeman service will extend into the winter
season, the route opening June 13, 2026, with Saturday-only service for summer
operated by Delta Connection's Embraer 175 aircraft before expanding to daily service from December 19, 2026, through March 28, 2027.
“Austin continues to be an important and growing city for
Delta,” said Amy Martin, Delta’s Vice President of Network Planning. “By adding
service to Phoenix and expanding our Bozeman route into the winter season,
we’re giving customers in Austin even more access to top requested destinations
while strengthening connections to key business markets across the West.”
As the leading global carrier at Austin-Bergstrom
International Airport, Delta will offer 63 peak-day departures in summer 2026.
By December 2026, the airline will serve 30 destinations from Austin to Asheville
(AVL), Columbus (CMH), Kalispell (FCA), and Kansas City (MCI), including the
advanced routes to Phoenix and Boseman.
Delta also recently launched its first international service
from Austin to Cancun (CUN) and Cabo San Lucas (SJD), giving customers direct
access to two of Mexico’s most popular beach destinations.
