One of travelers’ favorite business class products is getting even swankier this fall, thanks to Delta Air Lines.
On Wednesday, the Atlanta-based carrier unveiled an entirely new passenger experience for its most premium long-haul cabins that includes new dining, beverage, and upscale hospitality touches through all phases of travel.
“Delta’s fully reimagined experience is rooted in solving real customer needs and desires, with intentionality behind every detail,” said Ranjan Goswami, Delta’s chief marketing and product officer. “Every investment we make is deliberate and designed to deliver the industry’s most premium end-to-end travel experience. This elevated dining and hospitality experience reflects our relentless focus on raising the bar while giving customers greater control throughout their journey.”
Thoughtful Touches to Enhance Comfort
Upon boarding, Delta One fliers will notice refreshed perks at their seats, like a winter version of the carrier’s Missoni amenity kits and a second Missoni Mini pillow on transoceanic flights.
Delta has also relaunched its partnership with sock company Bombas, which it says is back by popular demand, so customers can get extra cozy on board.
A new “sip and settle” moment before meals comes with a hot towel, warm nuts, and a preferred beverage, all of which are placed on the seat’s console with minimal disruption.
Reimagined Dining Service
Delta has completely revamped its culinary experience in the Delta One cabin, with a reimagined menu of new entrees, desserts, and drinks, as well as new tableware. Among the highlights are the Delta One Wagyu beef burger, roasted sea bass, braised lamb, beef short rib, and a seasonally rotating risotto.
The airline is also revamping its Delta One dessert cart with upgraded selections like the classic sundae that now comes topped with a new signature chocolate sauce, Amarena premium preserved cherries, pecan praline crumble, and a “soft and airy” doughnut. Passengers can also choose from a dairy-free sorbet with optional Champagne float or a fruit and cheese plate.
The new collection of Delta One tableware features a simple white design accented with Delta’s iconic widget.
Before boarding, passengers will also find more options to pre-select meals, including more specialty meals like gluten free selections, lighter options like salads with added proteins, and the ability to skip the morning meal service for more sleep and opt for a simple coffee and croissant instead. Pre-selections can now be made up to 18 hours before departure, which is six hours closer than previously.
New Lineup of In-Flight Beverages
In spring 2027, passengers will find an overhauled cocktail and mocktail program on their Delta One flight, with nonalcoholic versions of popular drinks like the Hugo Spritz and Paloma.
Delta will also be the first and only airline to carry Blanton’s bourbon, starting December 1, 2026. Other new additions include Dassai sake on all flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda, as well as the 13 wines that are part of the airline’s new Delta One wine program, which it unveiled in September.
The overhauled cabin experience will first launch this fall on Delta’s transoceanic flights departing Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The airline will then roll out the cabins across its full route network in early 2027.
