Plans to open one of the industry’s swankiest business class lounges at Delta Air Lines’ home hub have become a bit more tangible.
The Atlanta-based carrier has confirmed that its much-anticipated first Delta One Lounge planned for the city’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) will be located in Concourse E, according to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Fliers based in Atlanta have waited years for access to the top-tier premium lounge from Delta. The airline is the largest carrier at ATL, but it has been unable to secure the sweeping real estate required for a Delta One location at the hub.
Instead, the carrier has built its Delta One network at other focus airports, like New York (JFK), Boston (BOS), Seattle (SEA), and Los Angeles (LAX), where a second location is slated to open in time for the 2028 Olympic games.
The carrier first confirmed it was working on bringing the sophisticated lounge to ATL back in the spring of 2025.
Delta One lounges are beloved by premium travelers for their luxe amenities, including elegant outdoor terraces, wellness spaces with massages and shower suites, and gourmet dining featuring dishes like sushi and izakaya dumplings.
With the location in Atlanta, the Delta One network will grow to a total of six lounges.
