Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is expanding its United States route network from coast to coast, just in time for summer travel.
The Denver-based airline is adding four new nonstop routes throughout the U.S. in late spring, connecting seven airports on both coasts and across the South.
The first of the new domestic nonstops launches on May 5, when Frontier will launch daily service between Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and New Jersey’s Newark Airport (EWR).
Starting May 21, the carrier will launch service between DFW and Santa Ana, California (SNA), which will operate four times per week.
Also on May 21, Frontier will begin daily nonstop flights between Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Washington D.C. Dulles (IAD).
The last of the new routes is scheduled to debut on June 11: a nonstop between Las Vegas (LAS) and Nashville (BNA) that will offer four flights per week.
“We are very pleased to announce these new routes, offering more low-cost service across the U.S. just in time for the summer travel season,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “With this new service, consumers will enjoy Frontier’s signature convenience and affordability as they travel to California, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., or any of the other exciting destinations served by America’s Low Fare Airline.”
Fares on all of the new routes are currently on sale, with introductory prices as low as $49.
