Cost-conscious fliers are getting a brand new lineup of affordable routes just in time for holiday travel this winter, thanks to Frontier Airlines.
The low-cost carrier just announced plans to launch four new routes across the United States and the Caribbean, with service starting in November.
The routes traverse Florida, Puerto Rico, California, and more. Introductory fares start at just $69 one way.
“We are committed to ensuring consumers have affordable travel options, and are pleased to announce these new routes which will connect many popular destinations,” said Josh Flyr, Frontier’s vice president of network and operations design.
Starting November 20, Frontier will launch daily nonstop service between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), with introductory fares from $99.
Also on November 20, the carrier will begin new daily flights between Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and fares start at $99.
The most affordable new route will be between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). Flights will operate four times per week starting November 20, with fares as low as $69.
On December 17, Frontier will launch new daily flights between Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), and fares can be booked for as little as $99.
The new round of launches comes just a couple of weeks after Frontier announced it would add service on eight routes that were formerly operated by now-defunct low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines.
