JetBlue launched daily nonstop flights between Fort
Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida and Alfonso Bonilla
Aragón International Airport serving Cali, Colombia, expanding the airline’s
service to the South American country.
The new route began October 15 and provides travelers with a
direct connection between South Florida and Cali, one of Colombia’s largest
cities. The service also gives passengers arriving in Fort Lauderdale
additional connections to destinations across JetBlue’s network.
Cali is JetBlue’s fourth destination in Colombia, joining
Barranquilla, Cartagena and Medellín. The addition follows the airline’s launch
of service between Fort Lauderdale and Barranquilla earlier in October.
JetBlue Flight 1535 departs Fort Lauderdale at 10:05 a.m.
and arrives in Cali at 12:52 p.m. The return flight, Flight 1540, leaves Cali
at 2:10 p.m. and arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 7 p.m. All times are local. The
airline operates the route with an Airbus A320.
The expansion is part of JetBlue’s broader growth at Fort
Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Since December 2025, the airline
has added 12 nonstop destinations from the airport and increased daily
departures by more than 75% compared with the same period last year, according
to the carrier.
JetBlue expects to operate more than 150 daily departures
from Fort Lauderdale during peak travel periods this winter, marking its
largest schedule at the airport. The airline continues to expand its network
across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
