Starting Thursday, travelers have the chance to buy a ticket to one of the newest premium seats in the sky.
JetBlue has opened fares for BlueFirst, its highly-anticipated new domestic first class product.
The new premium cabin is set to debut on December 8 on the carrier’s nonstop route between Boston (BOS) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL).
A few days later, BlueFirst will launch on JetBlue’s route from Fort Lauderdale to New York LaGuardia (LGA), with a wider rollout across the airline’s network continuing in the following weeks.
Travelers can expect to see the new premium seats eventually added to its flights heading to Latin America and the Caribbean aboard JetBlue’s fleet that isn’t equipped with Mint business class.
BlueFirst will offer a variety of premium amenities and perks, including a 2-2 seating layout and roomy legroom that has seven more inches of space than economy.
The first class seats will also offer five extra inches of recline compared to coach, as well as 13.3-inch entertainment screens that come with a “mixologist mode” that allows travelers to order custom cocktails right to their seat.
Seats are also fitted with specially designed with flex foam from mattress brand Tuft & Needle, which gives “each customer personalized support and responsive pressure relief throughout the flight,” the airline said.
To celebrate the cabin’s launch, JetBlue is offering one-way introductory fares starting at $249.
In order to score the lowest fares, passengers must book by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 16 for travel between December 8, 2026 and February 10, 2027. (Note that blackout dates around holidays apply to the fare deal.)
“We designed BlueFirst to deliver a more accessible first-class experience that combines the thoughtful hospitality and service customers expect from JetBlue with exceptional value and comfort,” said JetBlue CEO Joanna Geraghty.
"This is just the beginning,” Geraghty said. “As we bring BlueFirst to more aircraft, customers will see it become available on routes and in markets across our network, giving them even more opportunities to choose an elevated JetBlue experience.”
