If you're the devil-may-care, throw-caution-to-the-wind, adventurous type, Lufthansa Airlines has a deal for you.
The German carrier is offering cheap deals on flights in which you choose not the destination, but the category of trip you'd like to take. Categories include shopping, romance, winter travel, culture, city visits, 'bromance' and more. You can even pick the dates.
What you can't choose, however, is the destination.
That's why the promotion is being called the Lufthansa Surprise. Once you book your flights and make your payment, the airline will tell you where you're headed.
Surprise, indeed.
The flights are cheap-running about $260 roundtrip-but they are non-refundable and only depart from Munich and Frankfurt.
"The more flexible you are, the cheaper your flight," according to Lufthansa's website.

Actually, it's not as haphazard as you might think. The trick is to narrow down the category. The airline is offering anywhere from seven to 12 cities in each one.
