A Spirit Airlines flight preparing to take off from Las Vegas Saturday was delayed after one of the passengers onboard stripped naked.
According to KSNV, Spirit Airlines Flight 359 had just finished boarding in preparation for a journey from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas to Oakland International Airport in California when a male passenger took off all his clothes and approached a flight attendant.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was immediately called to the scene and officers reached the gate where the plane was waiting at around 11:30 a.m. local time. The man received medical treatment and was taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.

The flight was permitted to continue to Oakland around noon local time and arrived just 20 minutes later than previously expected.
This isn't the first time Spirit Airlines has seen controversy on its flights. In June, a man who booked two seats for himself on a Spirit plane says the carrier embarrassed and humiliated him after it gave away one of his seats on an overbooked flight.
