A power outage spurred headaches for travelers at Maryland's Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport on Monday morning.
The airport confirmed an outage impacting areas of its main terminal and parking garage shortly after 8:30 a.m. ET and said that multiple arriving flights were being diverted as a result.
Officials encouraged travelers to check their flight status with their airline.
In its most recent update, the airport said that power had been fully restored.
According to flight-tracking website FlightAware.com, BWI was reporting more than 175 flight delays and 50-plus cancellations as of 1 p.m. ET.
