The 22nd annual Sandals US Travel Advisor Golf Tournament fam took place in Ocho Rios, Jamaica from September 9-12.
Held at the Upton Estate Golf and Country Club, this year’s tournament featured 100 players, 80 percent of which were new to the experience.
Jake Coldiron, Sandals’ National Manager for Golf Sales, said this was part of the strategy this year to have Unique Vacations’ BDMs hand pick a number of advisors to attend, learn and further grow their business.

This year’s winning team featured three veterans in Megan Sams, Lauren Rotoreau, James Rotoreau, with one newbie, Alan Granza. Together, Team Nicklaus won the scramble tournament with near ease after shooting 60 on Friday and a 59 on Saturday for a final combined score of 119. Second place was Team Palmer, (Joey Alfonso and Bing Alfonso, Christopher Cirella, and Amanda Veith) with a final score of 129. And for the first time ever, Sandals gave out a 3rd place trophy, which went to Team Watson (Carlie Finch and Clint Finch, Roger Litterini and Mandy Litterini), who finished with a combine total of 131.
