The next day, Sunday-only service will resume between Dallas and Portland, Oregon as well as Atlanta and Oakland, California, the carrier announced.Looking ahead to the winter season, Southwest says it's made "big investments" to be "very prepared" for inclement weather and other staffing issues that plagued it last time around."So big investments in winter operations, preparations. So de-icing trucks, and more de-icing capacity," Southwest CEO Robert Jordan said at an investment conference on Thursday."I feel very, very prepared for this winter and all that will be in place by October," he added.
The carrier's full schedule through Memorial Day 2024 is now available to book at Southwest.com.
