Southwest Airlines' robust summer 2027 schedule is now available for booking.
The Dallas-based low-cost carrier's scheduled 4,498 trips on peak days during the upcoming summer season are the most it has ever offered.
Southwest's flight schedule will see ramped-up service to and from burgeoning destinations such as Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee and San Diego, California.
From the Texas capital, Southwest is adding weekend service through June and July connecting Austin to Liberia, Costa Rica, Nassau, Bahamas and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Southwest is also bringing back seasonal daily service connecting Austin to Portland, Oregon, and seasonal Saturday-only service to Sarasota, Florida, in addition to weekend roundtrips to Savannah, Georgia, and Saturday-only service to and from Bozeman, Montana.
Meanwhile, the airline's largest-ever summer schedule at Nashville will feature new routes between Music City and Boise, Idaho, Nassau, Bahamas and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
From San Diego, Southwest is increasing options to Austin and Seattle and Southwest is adding new seasonal service on Sundays connecting San Diego and Oklahoma City. That accompanies returning seasonal service between San Diego and Bozeman, Montana, Columbus, Ohio, Milwaukee and Pittsburgh.

Southwest is also increasing summer service in Las Vegas and Orlando. The carrier will offer up to 278 trips in Las Vegas, which marks an increase of 12 trips year-over-year, and offer up to 173 trips in Orlando, an increase of 17 trips year-over-year.
Southwest Encourages Travelers to 'Enter Airplane Mode'
Southwest has also launched a new brand campaign focused on the unfortunate trend of many Americans experiencing burnout at work.
The effort will feature television ads in addition to a special Notification Vacation interactive online activation where travelers can upload a screenshot of their homepage notifications and receive Rapid Rewards points.

"With a Customer extension called 'Notification Vacation' we are taking it one step further from simply encouraging you to take the trip to helping you bring it to fruition."
