Southwest Airlines may have operated the cutest flight ever this week.
According to People, the Dallas-based budget carrier teamed up with Texas rescue group, Operation Pets Alive!, and San Diego's Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC) to fly dozens of displaced pets out of areas of Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Wednesday's adorable flight transported 64 dogs and cats from Austin, Texas to San Diego.
The best part? The animals got to ride in the cabin and one lucky puppy even made his way into the cockpit.

Four medical personnel from HWAC came along for the flight to help organize and provide medical care.
According to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, volunteers said the cats napped for the duration of the flight.
"These are the silent victims. There are shelters that have been devastated by Hurricane Harvey, without electricity, without supplies," President of HWAC, Mike Arms, said in a statement.
"Operation Pets Alive! has taken in an overwhelming number of orphan dogs and cats who had inhabited those shelters before the storm and were suddenly facing euthanasia simply because they had no place to go. We are honored to help save those lives and we are lucky to have incredible friends like Southwest to help make this all possible."

Many of the pets have already been adopted to new homes in Southern California.
