Beauty on the Fly: Cosmetics Vending Machines at the Airport

Got a layover with a few hours to spare? Have no fear beauty junkies, there is a way to kill time and fulfill your makeup curiosities. The latest trend in beauty retail has been popping up at shopping malls, nightclubs, supermarkets, train stations and airports everywhere for your emergency beauty needs on the go. Vending machines from major brands like Chanel, Lancome, L'oreal, Benefit, Essie and Elizabeth Arden are at your convenience - just to name a few.

Huda Kattan

Beauty blogger Huda Kattan has such a big following she has launched her first vending machine carrying her cruelty free mink lashes and faux nail sets in the Dubai Sunset Mall. U'tique is offering high-end best sellers in an ultra modern way at Fred Segal in LA. Chanel's Nailmatic machine was initially intended to promote new products like nail polishes and Le Volume mascara.

The only problem I foresee is one of the products getting trapped on the way down the machine after purchase. That brings me back to my high school days in the cafeteria when you could just call on the closest jock to give the machine a little tip to the side to retrieve that Snickers Bar that got stuck. My word of advice… please don't get arrested at the airport over a mascara!
