Singapore Airlines is expanding its connectivity to New York, offering three daily nonstop flights between New York's John F. Kennedy International (JFK) and Newark Liberty International (EWR) airports to Singapore, considered the world's longest flights.
Each of the eighteen hour, forty-five minute nonstop flights will offer the fastest way to travel to Southeast Asia on one of the most consistently highly rated airlines in the world. The planes are the A350-900 Ultra-Long-Range planes, which offer all-premium seats.
Guests can choose from Business Class or Premium Economy Class, the lowest category of which includes amenities like noise-canceling headphones, entertainment monitors, reclining seats and delicious meals. Business Class includes personal care kits, a seat that converts into a bed, complete with linens and a pillow and greater access to entertainment options.
Newark's nonstop flights begin on March 28, 2022 and will join JFK, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver as points of connectivity for the airline in North America.
"SIA is indeed 'tripling-down' on the Big Apple," said Joey Seow, Singapore Airlines' Regional VP - Americas. "Expanding for the first time to triple-daily service from the New York area is a key example of our commitment to both rebuild and grow our U.S. route network. With the relaunch of our Newark-Singapore flights, SIA will have restored operations to each of our six U.S. gateway markets, in addition to debuting a new, seasonal service from Vancouver to Singapore. Despite the ongoing challenges of covid, we continue to see strong demand for premium air travel."
