Who says flying isn't fun anymore?
If you have been on Southwest Airlines during one of their pop-up concerts, it's probably not you.
Southwest Airlines and Warner Music Nashville have formalized a partnership that will officially make concerts in the sky a thing.
The two companies paired up before to launch a variety of pop-up promotions onboard the airline. Since 2011, the Live at 35 concert series has grown in popularity and now, the relationship between Southwest and Warner Music has taken on a more formal partnership.
Billboard reports Southwest will continue to host Warner Music artists and the label will continue flying with the airline.
Devin Dawson performed to a capacity crowd onboard a Nashville to Philadelphia flight to celebrate the announcement.
After the concert, the singer strolled the aisles and gave out souvenir guitar picks as well as compact discs to his audience.

Once the plane landed in Philadelphia, Dawson told Billboard: "That was a little bit different than what I usually do every day."
"You know, some people don't really enjoy flying; some people get very nervous and don't like it," Dawson added. "I hope that something like this [performance] is just a cool surprise for some [passengers] that helps them forget about their everyday woes, and I'll just play a couple of songs to make them smile."
Earlier this year, Andy Grammer performed onboard the airline and Southwest shared the video.
If you want to know if there will be music on your flight, you can check the Live at 35 lineup on Southwest FM, which offers more information on the artists playing the friendly skies.
It remains to be seen if live in-flight concerts will be the next travel trend, but it does join the ranks of ways the in-flight experience is slowly improving.
