MSC Seaside crossed the ocean to arrive in Miami as the most-anticipated new cruise ship of 2017.
The shiny new vessel burst onto the scene ready to flaunt all the cool features, activities and unique venues during its weeklong sailings to the Caribbean.
The ship is built to follow the sun, and here are five facets you'll want to check out during a cruise on MSC Seaside:
Waterpark Play Area
The ship has a jampacked fun zone for kids (and adults who act like kids). MSC Seaside features three waterslides, including side-by-side racing slides (one slide is definitely faster) and a slide board interactive tube that lets you test your reflexes by triggering responses to flashing colors during your rapid descent.
MSC Seaside also offers the longest zip line at sea. Two lines run the length of the ship and give you the most incredible views from high above the lido deck.
Plus, there is a ropes course that gives the feel of climbing from tree house to tree house, (though this is a more of an aesthetically appealing design feature than a physically challenging activity). A splash zone sits below it all with all sorts of dumping buckets, water guns and mini-geysers offering cool relief.
Thermal Spa
You may never want to leave here.
Buy a day pass (stateroom packages are also available that include spa privileges) to the Aurea Spa and treat yourself to a relaxing atmosphere. The spa features a steam room, rainfall showers, sauna, whirlpools and heated loungers. You can even chill out in the snow room.
The Arcade
Yes, there are more ways to play on MSC Seaside!
The ship is outfitted with a two-lane, full-sized bowling alley, and the passengers were having fun competing with each other during our sailing. In the same arcade area, you can also take the wheel in the Formula One race-car simulator or strap in for an interactive adventure shooting down werewolves or zombies at the 4D Theater.
Other arcade activities are available, too, such as air hockey and video machines.
