Call it a three-peat on the water.
For the third consecutive year, Carnival Corporation has
been named one of the world’s best employers.
The designation was made by Forbes magazine.
More than 700 international employers were in the running
for the recognition. Factors included cultivating a positive work environment
and work-life balance were considered.
The survey was determined by interviews and questionnaires
with more than 170,000 workers from 55 countries. Employees were anonymously
asked to rate where they work. Carnival itself employs more than 160,000
workers from 150 different countries.
Only the top 700 companies were recognized as being part of
the World’s Best Employers list by Forbes.
According to the magazine, there were several thousand companies who were
considered.
“Our highly talented global team of shipboard and shoreside
employees are at the heart of everything we do and we want to make sure we are
fostering an environment where people from all different backgrounds,
experiences and walks of life can thrive,” said Bettina Deynes, global chief
human resources officer for Carnival Corporation.
“As we continue to prioritize a positive company culture and
drive initiatives to grow each of our team members’ careers, we are honored to
be recognized once again by Forbes for our efforts and commitment to be the
employer of choice for hospitality, travel and leisure careers,” Deynes
continued.
Carnival Cruise Line provided an update on its 2025
