On Tuesday, Carnival Cruise Line announced that it has been named the "Most Trusted Cruise Line in America" by Reader's Digest for the second consecutive year.
Carnival took home the honor after Reader's Digest conducted a poll of more than 5,000 Americans who rated the company above any other cruise line in terms of quality, value and reliability.
The "Most Trusted Cruise Line in America" award and the rest of the Reader's Digest awards will be featured in the October issue of the publication. The honor also showcases the strides Carnival Cruise Line has made in building a relationship with its passengers.
"Vacations are more important than ever and as America's Cruise Line we consider it an honor that our guests entrust us with their well-deserved vacations year after year," Carnival president Christine Duffy said in a statement. "Being named America's Most Trusted Cruise Line by the readers of Reader's Digest for two years running is a testament to our focus on providing our guests with unforgettable vacations as well as the incredible effort put forth by our team members, both on board and ashore."
Part of the reason Carnival continues to win major awards is the company's dedication to enhancing its onboard offerings and ensuring passengers have a fun and memorable vacation that will exceed expectations.
Recently, Carnival Cruise Line also debuted its largest and most innovative ship, the Carnival Vista, which features innovations such as the SkyRide aerial attraction, the first IMAX Theatre at sea, the RedFrog Pub & Brewery and the largest water park in the fleet, featuring the 455-foot-long Kaleid-o-Slide.
