Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) paid tribute to Azamara Cruises CEO Dondra Ritzenthaler and TRAVELSAVERS, NEST and The Affluent Traveler Collection Founder CEO A.J. “Rick” Mazza with the CLIA Hall of Fame Cruise Industry Award for Lifetime Achievement during the annual 2026 CLIA 360 conference in Fort Lauderdale.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized by CLIA alongside such inspiring leaders in our industry,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises, a 40-year industry veteran. “Travel has always been a deeply personal passion of mine – and it has enriched not only my own life but also created lasting memories and meaningful connections for my family.”
“That belief in the power of travel is what continues to inspire everything we do at Azamara, as well as our commitment to working closely with travel dvisors, who are essential in bringing these experiences to life for our guests,” she added. “This recognition reflects not only my journey, but the passion and dedication of our entire team as we create experiences that connect our guests more deeply to the world around them.”
Ritzenthaler’s background includes key positions in airline and cruise industry, including American Airlines and Celebrity Cruises.

Mazza, a 50-year industry veteran, founded TRAVELSAVERS in 1970, a marketing group for travel advisors.
For its part, NEST is believed to be the first network for independent home-based agencies, while The Affluent Traveler Collection was created to provide for the one-of-kind business needs of luxury advisors.
“I’m truly humbled and deeply honored to receive this recognition from CLIA,” Mazza said. “Our travel partners and advisors share our passion to grow this incredible industry together and ensure that everybody benefits.”
“Their support, loyalty and friendship over the years have enabled us to build a strong, thriving sales channel of entrepreneurial advisors,” he added.
The CLIA Hall of Fame Awards ceremony was held on April 24 in Fort Lauderdale, during the CLIA 360 event, which kicked off on April 21 and concludes on April 26.
