Looking ahead to the 2017 Christmas Markets season, AmaWaterways is offering up to $1,500 off rates through July 31, 2017. The special applies to four itineraries from November to December 2017 including the line's newest AmaKristina. Seven- or 14-night sailings begin at just $1,849 per person with savings.
Plus, on the December 23 Rhine voyage, guests will receive two complimentary nights in Amsterdam.
"The holidays are the most beautiful time of the year to visit Europe, with Christmas Markets, festive decorations, regional delicacies and memorable moments at every port of call," said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-owner of AmaWaterways, in a press release. "We are delighted to offer guests an incredible value on this year's Christmas Markets cruises and look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests this holiday season!"
Onboard, AmaWaterways showcases tree-trimming contests, gingerbread decorating, a Captain's Christmas party, traditional holiday dinner, carolers and more. Also on December 31, there will be a New Year's Eve gala and regional firework displays.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is extending a number of "enjoy the very best of Scotland for less" cruise specials for its "Summer Sale." There are also single supplement offers available as well. In total, 35 reduced voyages leave from June to December 2017 with the following highlighted Scottish sailings:
-Eight-night "From the Highlands of Scotland to the Lizard Peninsula" cruise aboard Balmoral on August 6, 2017, beginning at £699 per person
-Seven-night "Lochs of Scotland" cruise aboard Black Watch on August 14, 2017, beginning at £799 per person
-Ten-night "Historic Castles & Highland Games" cruise aboard Braemar on August 29, 2017, beginning at £899 per person
-Six-night "Scottish Winter Warmer" cruise aboard Black Watch on December 1, 2017, beginning at £499 per person

Star Clippers
Star Clippers sailings to Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand come with a free pre- or post-cruise night stay including breakfast and transfer through March 2018. Rates begin at only $1,360 per person.
The Star Clipper cruises roundtrip from Benoa (Bali) on 7- to 11-night voyages. The complimentary night can be enjoyed at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel.
When the vessel leaves from or returns to Singapore, guests can take their free night at the Orchard Hotel Singapore. Or they can stay at the Amari Hotel Phuket for seven-night sailings in Thailand.
