Crystal Cruises has announced its final wave of 2028 voyages and new itineraries for 2029, with sailings across Asia-Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, South America and the Atlantic.
The new itineraries aboard Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Grace run from October 2028 through May 2029 and will be available to book beginning October 20. Highlights include Japan during cherry blossom season, holiday sailings in the South Pacific and New Zealand, and Crystal Grace’s first season in South America.
The itineraries also introduce new ports across several regions, including Akita, Amami and Kumamoto in Japan; Hilo, Hawaii; Cooktown, Port Arthur and Phillip Island in Australia; and Corinto, Nicaragua, and Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala. Other additions include Surabaya, Indonesia, and Rinca Island, home to the Komodo dragon. Select sailings will also feature scenic cruising through Japan’s Kanmon Strait and New Zealand’s Milford, Doubtful and Dusky sounds.
“From the Pacific and Asia to South America and the Atlantic, these itineraries give our guests new ways to explore familiar regions while reaching destinations that are less frequently visited,” says Mario Parodi, vice president of itinerary planning and port and fuel operations for Crystal Cruises.
Crystal Symphony begins its season October 3, 2028, with voyages through Japan and South Korea before continuing through Taiwan, the Philippines and Southeast Asia. The ship then heads to Australia and New Zealand, with new ports of call and scenic cruising through New Zealand’s three sounds in December. The series concludes in Melbourne on January 7, 2029, where the ship will begin hosting its World Cruise.
Crystal Grace, meanwhile, continues its inaugural year with Caribbean sailings beginning November 20, 2028, before heading to South America in February 2029. The ship will sail along Brazil’s coast, including an extended stay in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival, before continuing through Uruguay and Argentina toward Patagonia. The itinerary also includes a visit to Iles du Salut, a group of islands that includes Devil’s Island, and scenic cruising around Cape Horn and through the Chilean fjords.
After visiting ports along the South American Pacific coast, Crystal Grace will transit the Panama Canal for the first time on March 22, 2029. The ship will then return to the Caribbean and Central America before crossing the Atlantic to the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands and Morocco. The season concludes in Lisbon on May 2, 2029.
Crystal Serenity begins its season December 4, 2028, with sailings from Fort Lauderdale to Central America and Mexico before crossing the Pacific to Hawaii, French Polynesia, Australia and Southeast Asia. The ship then heads to Japan in March and April 2029, arriving during cherry blossom season and visiting destinations across the country, along with ports in South Korea and scenic cruising through the Kanmon Strait.
In May, Crystal Serenity sails north through Japan before crossing the Pacific to Alaska, where it will visit Kodiak and Homer. The series concludes in Seward on May 28, 2029.
