Crystal Cruises will add five new suites to Crystal Serenity during the ship’s 2028 dry dock, including a new 1,722-square-foot Crystal Owner’s Suite and four 861-square-foot Junior Penthouse Premium Suites.
The new accommodations will be located midship on Deck 11 and are scheduled to debut with sailings beginning May 5, 2028. The additions will expand Crystal Serenity’s suite offerings while introducing design elements inspired by the line’s newer accommodations.
The Crystal Owner’s Suite will feature two bedrooms and a 409-square-foot private veranda. The design will be led by naval architect and naval design historian Paolo Piccione, with wooden floors, custom wool carpets, handcrafted cabinetry and fine fabrics throughout the suite.
The living room will include a library and fireplace, while the dining area will feature panoramic ocean views, a Butler pantry and a personalized bar. The suite will also have a high-fidelity entertainment system with touch panels in the living room and master bedroom that can control music across multiple zones.
The master bedroom will include a king-size bed and two walk-in closets, while the marble-lined master bathroom will feature a Jacuzzi. A second bedroom with its own walk-in closet and bathroom will provide additional space for family members or other guests.
The suite will also include Technogym fitness equipment with personalized Technogym Coach programming and integrated entertainment, positioned to offer ocean views.
The four new Junior Penthouse Premium Suites will each include 861 square feet of interior space and a 205-square-foot veranda. Their layouts are inspired by the Junior Penthouse accommodations aboard Crystal Symphony and will complement the six existing Junior Penthouse Deluxe Suites on Crystal Serenity.

The additions build on the Crystal Owner’s Suite aboard Crystal Grace, which launched during the ship’s inaugural season. Crystal Serenity’s 2028 dry dock will give the cruise line an opportunity to bring a similar accommodation concept to the older vessel while maintaining its existing character.
