Hoping to make some family memories on your next vacation? Star Clippers is offering 10 percent off fares for grandparents and free fares for kids on dozens of sailing trips around the world.
The multi-generational travel promotion is available to residents of North, Central and South America for select new bookings in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and Central America. Travelers must book by February 28 to get the deal.
Kids must be between the ages of 3 and 17 at the time of sailing, and they must be traveling with one or two adults in the same cabin. Guests over the age of 65 at the time of sailing will get 10 percent off their cruise fare.
Families can sail together aboard one of the company’s three tall sailing vessels: Star Clipper, Star Flyer and Royal Clipper. Kids—and travelers who are young at heart—will find plenty of fun activities onboard, from nautical knot-tying classes to lectures on navigation.
When the ship is in port, families can bond while participating in shore excursions like hiking, scuba diving, snorkeling and cultural tours.
