Oceania Cruises is unveiling its European cruise offerings for 2027 and 2028, including the cruise line’s first full winter season in the Mediterranean aboard Oceania Allura.
The ship will sail 17 winter voyages between November 2027 and March 2028, with itineraries ranging from nine to 26 days. The cruises will sail between destinations including Barcelona, Rome, Athens and Istanbul, giving travelers more opportunities to visit the Mediterranean during the cooler months.
“Europe is one of the most beloved cruise regions, and we are thrilled to offer our guests year-round opportunities to sail with us,” says Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “With more ways to explore the continent, from weeklong escapes to longer, unhurried journeys across the seasons, we're giving guests the freedom to experience Europe entirely on their own terms.”
The broader 2027-28 European deployment includes itineraries across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Atlantic, with calls at both major cities and smaller ports.
Among the lesser-visited destinations featured in the new itineraries are Golfo Aranci in Sardinia, Gythion and Skiathos in Greece, Kotor in Montenegro, Taranto in Italy's Puglia region and Çanakkale in Turkey, which serves as a gateway to the ancient ruins of Troy.
Several voyages also include overnight or extended stays, including visits to Bordeaux, Hamburg and Florence/Pisa/Tuscany.
One of the highlighted sailings is the 10-day “Atlantic Wine Trails” voyage from Lisbon to London aboard Oceania Insignia, departing April 24, 2027. The itinerary visits Oporto, La Coruña, Bilbao and Biarritz before an overnight stay in Bordeaux, followed by stops in Saint-Malo and St. Peter Port in Guernsey.
The 9-day “Mysteries of History” voyage aboard Oceania Sirena departs Rome for Istanbul on May 24, 2027. The itinerary visits ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey, including Salerno, Messina, Syracuse, Katakolon, Gythion, Mykonos, Skiathos and Çanakkale.
For Northern Europe, the 13-day “Glacial Adventure” voyage sails from Copenhagen to Reykjavik aboard Oceania Marina on July 26, 2027. The itinerary includes stops in Gothenburg and Oslo before continuing along Norway's coast to Kristiansand, Stavanger, Eidfjord and Måløy. It then visits Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands and several destinations in Iceland before ending in Reykjavik.
The 10-day “Croissants & Cannoli” voyage departs Barcelona for Rome aboard Oceania Nautica on September 16, 2027. The itinerary includes Sète, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Florence/Pisa/Tuscany, Bastia, Olbia/Porto Cervo, Messina and Salerno.
Oceania Allura's first winter Mediterranean season includes the 12-day “Warm Winter Wonderland” voyage from Athens to Barcelona, departing December 8, 2027. The sailing visits destinations including Limassol, Rhodes, Ephesus, Heraklion, Katakolon, Valletta, Trapani, Cagliari, Mahón and Palma de Mallorca.
Another Oceania Allura itinerary, the 9-day Iconic “Art & Architecture” voyage, sails roundtrip from Rome on January 31, 2028. The itinerary includes Porto Torres, Palma de Mallorca, Tunis, Trapani, Valletta, Messina and Salerno.
The new European itineraries also emphasize culinary experiences, including small-group shore excursions and Oceania Cruises' Culinary Discovery Tours, which take travelers to local markets and producers before chef-led meals featuring regional ingredients.
Oceania Cruises says the new voyages will offer hundreds of shore excursion options, ranging from wine-focused experiences in the Iberian Peninsula to visits to ancient archaeological sites and explorations of local food traditions.
