Royal Caribbean Enhances Espresso Booking Platform

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has announced an update to its travel agent reservation system—Espresso. The corporate booking platform helps professionals better access the Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises brands.
The RCL sales teams have implemented a number of new features, building upon annual enhancements made to the system.
The tools come as a result of travel professional feedback and includes category swaps, interactive deck plans and tour conductor credit notifications.
Now, agents can easily handle group reservations with the ability to switch to cabin categories outside the group block according to stateroom inventory availability. Also, interactive deck plans are currently visible for every kind of Espresso booking. That means partners can initially reserve a certain cabin for a guest within a group without the need to toggle back and forth.
Additionally, a new Tour Conductor (TC) Credit Notifications feature automatically informs agents how many more reservations are required to reach their next TC credit and in turn up their profits. The tool benefits both group and individual bookings.
