Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, expected to debut in August 2026, just completed a key construction milestone, celebrating its float-out ceremony this week, which is the first time the ship touches water.
The float-out occurred at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland.
The Legend of the Seas is the third Icon Class ship in the fleet, and will offer eight different neighborhoods, the Category 6 waterpark, a skywalk and ropes course called Crown’s Edge and much more.
When it debuts, it will sail across Europe on 7-night Western Mediterranean trips before heading to the Caribbean in November, where it will sail 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean itineraries.
It will be the fourth Royal Caribbean ship to be fueled with liquefied natural gas (LNG), which produces less emissions.
