Seabourn unveiled a series of public rooms and lounges
aboard its second purpose-built expedition vessel, Seabourn Pursuit, scheduled
to enter service on August 12.
From passenger favorites like Seabourn Square and The Club
to public rooms such as the Bow Lounge and Expedition Lounge, Seabourn Pursuit
will offer elegant and luxurious settings for guests to relax and socialize.
In the Bow Lounge located on Deck 6, travelers will have the
closest access to water level, making it the perfect spot for guests to watch
for marine life. The facility also has several technological enhancements,
including touch screens showing the ship’s plotted location and nautical charts
to guide its journey.
“On Seabourn Pursuit, guests will embark on a one-of-a-kind
experience that seamlessly combines Seabourn's signature elegance and beloved
'home away from home' atmosphere with an expedition feel that will leave them
with a sense of fulfillment as they explore different parts of the world,” Seabourn
president Natalya Leahy said.
The Constellation Lounge on Deck 9 forward houses the
highest indoor viewing point on the ship, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls,
Afternoon Tea service, live piano entertainment and after-dinner service.
On Deck 9, The Club and the Sky Bar offer custom-crafted
cocktails, fine wines at cocktail hour and live music before and after dinner.
Passengers can also enjoy Seabourn Square on Deck 6, a sociable space with a
charming European-style coffee bar vibe.
“There is an abundance of elegance, space and offerings that
will redefine ultra-luxury expedition travel, providing our guests with many
Seabourn Moments they will always treasure,” Leahy continued.
The ship will also boast the Expedition Lounge and Discovery
Center on Deck 4, with the latter acting as the teaching and academic center
for natural history and cultural programming aboard the Seabourn Pursuit.
When it debuts in August, the new Seabourn ship will sail
five voyages in the Mediterranean before embarking on two trips across the
Atlantic and through the Caribbean. On October 10, the vessel will arrive in
Barbados to sail a series of expedition journeys.
