Thursday's final phase of Winter Storm Thor suspended flight for more than just airlines and air travelers.
The beloved bald eagles at Pennsylvania's Codorus State Park were also grounded, including one deserving of 2015's parent of the year award.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission set up a camera just above a bald eagle nest at the park, which is situated around Lake Marburg just north of the Maryland-Pennsylvania border, and the live feed produced some remarkable screenshots via ABC27.com.
Despite being buried up to its neck in several inches of snow, one of the bald eagles remained perched in the nest atop its two eggs.

While bald eagles are well prepared to battle the winter elements as they sometimes nest as far north as Canada, Thursday's viral photos are yet another reminder that spring can't get here soon enough, whether you're human or not.
Thankfully, the start of spring is now just two weeks away, just in time for those eggs to hatch.
Until then, the Codorus State Park bald eagle will remain a mascot for weary U.S. travelers and a symbol of their perseverance amid another brutal winter.
