The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) celebrated its expanding influence this year, welcoming 50 new members to its table.
The largest global private-sector organization in the travel industry, the new members span the travel sector, from resort brands to travel insurance companies. New members include Allianz Partners, Club Med, Uber, Meliá Hotels International and more.
Two luxury hotel groups, Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental, have joined WTTC’s Executive Committee, which leads the industry’s future through positive influence.
“Welcoming 50 new members in a single year is a powerful vote of confidence in both our sector and WTTC,” said Gloria Guevara, President & CEO of WTTC. “We are delighted to welcome this exceptional group of sector leaders, including Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Meliá Hotels International, Barceló Hotel Group, Uber, Corinthia Group, Grupo Piñero, and many others from across the globe. Their insights and leadership will be invaluable as we shape together the future of Travel & Tourism.”
