All month long, visitors to New Orleans can celebrate the eclectic and world class dining of this destination for less than usual with the COOLinary New Orleans program. Each summer, restaurants all around the city—including make of the finest dining establishments—take part in this program with specially curated prix-fixe menus. The deals run through August 31, making this a great time to get clients focused on gastronomy to the Crescent City; there is also a special deal through September 30, when booking through NewOrleans.com where hotel stays of at least two consecutive nights earns a $100 Visa gift card.

Here’s a look at some of the offerings:
• Baru Bistro & Tapas serves Latin and South American cuisine at 3700 Magazine Street in the Garden District/Uptown. The special menu is $56 and offered Monday to Saturday; it features items like a pan-seared red snapper, grilled prime pork chop, or Australian wagyu flank.
• Kingfish Kitchen and Cocktails at 337 Chartres Street in the French Quarter features contemporary cuisine and a $28 COOLinary lunch for $28 from Monday to Sunday. Diners can choose their second course from a fried chicken salad, red beans & rice with Southern fried chicken, or a kingfish BBQ shrimp Bahn mi.
• Morrow Steak, located at 1003 Julia Street in the Arts/Warehouse/Convention District, has COOLinary dinners from Tuesday through Thursday. In addition to steak, guests can try everything from seafood gumbo to bread budding, as well as salmon, stuffed chicken, and garlic mashed potatoes.
• Located in the Central Business District/Downtown at 715 S. Charles Avenue, Saint John is a Creole restaurant that is offering COOLinary dinner for $58 from Wednesday through Sundays. There’s also an optional wine pairing for an additional $32.
• Biscuits and Buns, at 4337 Banks Street in the Mid-City neighborhood, is doing a Brunch COOLinary menu from Monday through Fridays for $40. Options include catfish & grits, boudin balls, crawfish biscuits, and “Ohh baby” pancakes.

There’s even a COOLinary Cocktails program going on at the same time, allowing diners to enjoy either two drinks and two bites (at $35 or less) or their own Custom Cocktail Creations at varying discounted prices. The Custom Cocktail Creations are offered at locations such as Commander’s Palace Restaurant, Arnaud’s Rastaurant, GW Fins, Pat O’Brien’s Bar, Atchafalaya Restaurant, The Country Club, Saba, Desi Vega’s Steakhouse, Muriel’s Jackson Square, The Rusty Nail, Saint Claire, Spicy Mango, and Misfit Toys NOLA.
