Tourist arrivals in Curaçao remained strong in early 2026,
according to the Curaçao Tourist Board. The island hosted 74,591 overnight
visitors in February 2026, a seven percent increase compared to February 2025.
The additional 4,984 visitors in 2026 represent “solid
demand across key source markets,” according to the Curaçao Tourist Board.
Demand remained healthy across Curaçao’s main source regions. South America
recorded the strongest growth, with arrivals increasing by 27 percent compared
with February 2025, while North America grew by six percent and Europe
increased by three percent. Caribbean arrivals declined in February 2026.
In absolute numbers, Europe remained the leading source market, with 27,799 overnight visitors, followed closely by North America with
27,042. South America contributed 16,206 overnight visitors.
According to
Immigration Card data, visitors stayed an average of 8.6 nights in February.
The United States remains an important source market for Curaçao, with
arrival holding steady year-over-year at 19,622 visitors in February
2026. A majority of the visitors (64 percent) stayed in resort hotels,
while 36 percent opted for other accommodation types.
U.S. visitors stayed an
average of 6.1 nights.
Canada’s visitor numbers surged by 25 percent in February
2026, totaling 7,420 arrivals compared to 5,917 in February 2025, highlighting
growing enthusiasm among Canadian travelers. Canadian visitors stayed an
average of 9.4 nights, with 50% choosing to stay in resort hotels.
