a strong start to the tourism year, with a 14 percent year-over-year increase in
visitor arrivals compared with 2024, according to Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB)
officials.
The Dutch

Europe during March for the first time in the country’s history, with 28,015

during March, said officials.
American
travelers drove Curaçao’s March increase, with the 22,002 US visitors representing
a 17 percent year-over-year increase compared with 2024. The figure also represents
the first time in Curaçao’s history the destination hosted as many as 20,000 US
visitors.
Most Americans (67
percent) visiting Curaçao in March stayed resort hotels, while 33 percent selected
“other” accommodation types, CTB officials said. US stayed and average of 5.8
nights, with the largest number residing from New York (14 percent), Florida (eight
percent), and North Carolina (five percent).
