Never one to rest on its laurels, Los Cabos continues to raise the bar on its luxury offerings, with brands such as Aman, St. Regis, Grand Hyatt, Soho House, Conrad, Delano and SIRO Palmilla debuting at the destination during the next year-and-a-half. But that’s only part of the story – Los Cabos is also welcoming increasing numbers of state-of-the-art wellness concepts and championship golf courses.
“The growth we’re seeing across Los Cabos is happening because the destination aligns with where luxury travel is headed,” said Los Cabos Tourism Board Managing Director Rodrigo Esponda.
“Visitors can arrive by private jet, stay at some of the world’s most celebrated hospitality brands, experience Michelin-recognized dining, participate in transformative wellness programs, play championship golf, and explore extraordinary natural landscapes all within a single destination,” he added. “Few places offer that combination at this level.”
A Wave of Elite Hotel Openings

Just some of the highlights of new hotel openings this year include Aman’s Amanvari, which serves as the brand’s first property in Mexico and is set to open Aug. 1 on the East Cape with 18 casitas and a small number of branded residences.
Coming online later in 2026 are St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira, with views of the Pacific Ocean; and the 301-room Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa — Grand Hyatt’s first all-inclusive property — which will be set in the Oleada Pacific Living & Community where the Oleada Golf Links course designed by Ernie Els will also make its debut.
“Meanwhile, Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol recently welcomed its first guests, adding another globally recognized luxury hospitality brand to the destination's growing portfolio,” the Los Cabos Tourism Board said.
“Additional projects expected in the coming years include Conrad Los Cabos, Delano East Cape, and SIRO Palmilla,” the tourism board added.
Restoring Mind, Body and Spirit
On the wellness front, affluent travelers will find a generous number of luxury wellness options to choose from.
“Experiences range from Sensei at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, where personalized programs incorporate biomarker analysis, fitness consultations, nutrition coaching, and recovery therapies, to immersive retreats such as Paradero Todos Santos and AMET Nature Retreat, where wellness is deeply connected to Baja's landscapes, culture, and natural rhythms,” the tourism board said.
The Four Seasons Resort Costa Palmas and Four Seasons Resort Cabo Del Sol also provide guests with a wide range of treatments that take their inspiration from The region’s wellness offering also includes the expansive spa programs at both Four Seasons Resort Costa Palmas and Four Seasons Resort Cabo Del Sol, where treatments draw inspiration from the surrounding ocean and desert.
Legendary Courses Expand Their Footprint

In the second half of 2026, Los Cabos’ courses will significantly expand, which, in addition to Oleada Golf Links by Ernie Els, include Old Lighthouse Golf & Ocean Club by Jack Nicklaus and The Legacy at Diamante by Tiger Woods.
Combined with existing courses designed by legends including Tom Fazio, Greg Norman, Robert Trent Jones II, and Jack Nicklaus, the destination continues to strengthen its position as one of the premier golf destinations globally.
Curated Shopping, Authentic Experiences
Los Cabos also recently unveiled Ánima Village in San José del Cabo, an open-air luxury shopping destination featuring curated global and local fashion, jewelry, art, and design brands, including Ferragamo, Golden Goose, Maje, and Sandro.
Last but not least, Los Cabos is also continuing to promote its eclectic collection of experiences, from exploring the “remote East Cape, stroll the galleries and historic streets of San José del Cabo, experiencing ranch-to-table culinary traditions, discovering the waterfalls and mountain landscapes of the Sierra de la Laguna, participating in conservation-focused marine adventures in the Sea of Cortez or enjoy Michelin-recognized dining experiences that celebrate Baja’s unique ingredients and culinary heritage.”
