With this achievement, NIZUC Resort & Spa joins the less than one percent of the 27,000 properties rated by AAA according to a news release.
Once a base station for Mayan astronomers and later a retreat for world leaders, NIZUC Resort & Spa opened in March 2013 with a limited number of rooms, and fully completed all guest rooms and facilities the following September.
