New York City is one of the most interesting metropolises in the world, and visitors will have a new way to view the beautiful city when the One World Observatory opens to the public on May 29.
According to an official press release, One World Trade Center became the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere when it opened in November of 2014, and tourists will finally be able to visit the building's observation levels on the 100-102 floors when they open in May.
The observatory sits at 1,250 feet high and provides people a panoramic view of the New York City landscape. Tickets went on sale Wednesday on the tower's official website, but the availability is limited.
As for prices, Children between the ages of six and 12 pay $26 (kids five and under will not be charged admission), adults between the ages of 13 and 64 pay $32 and senior citizens over 65 pay $30.

While it is clear visitors will be looking to tour the observation levels first and foremost to catch a glimpse of the incredible sights from that height, there are also plenty of amenities added to entertain tourists.
Designers have added five elevators built to make the journey from the ground floor up to the One World Observatory in less than 60 seconds, dubbed "Sky Pods." As if being launched 102 floors into the air was interesting enough, the elevators will bring patrons directly to a theater where they can watch "a two-minute video presentation that combines bird's eye imagery, time-lapse shots with abstract textures and patterns to present the unique rhythm and pulse of New York City to dramatic life in three dimensions."
As for the main observatory on the 100th floor, there will be an interactive ring of video monitors that will allow visitors to learn more about the places they are looking at from the One World Trade Center.
With so many technological marvels on top of having a view of New York City that is unparalleled, those looking to visit the Big Apple must make the journey to the One World Observatory.
