China is set to unveil a historic foot bridge just in time for summer visitors.
Upon opening in July, the hair-raising passage at scenic national park Zhangjiajie will be the world's longest and highest to feature a see-through glass bottom, according to CNN.com.
The bridge, which will pave the way for another new record (the world's highest bungee jump), will cover 430 meters (1,410 feet) between cliffs and sit 300 meters (984 feet) above the ground.
Spanning the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, the one-of-a-kind foot bridge will be able to hold as many as 800 people at a time and is likely to become a popular venue for events, including fashion shows.
Unlike the average foot bridge, this one will stretch six meters (20 feet) wide to allow for significant traffic in both directions.

Located within the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie is a tourist park that has been open to the public for the past six years. Tourists can find the park in the northwestern part of China's Hunan province roughly 800-plus miles west of Shanghai.
