There are many high-profile destinations worthy of a New Year's Eve celebration, but Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is one of the only locations that offers every member of the family something special for the holiday.
The highlight of any trip to a Disney theme park on New Year's Eve is the fireworks displays. In the Magic Kingdom park, the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks display entertains visitors on December 30 and December 31 at 11:50 p.m. local time each night.
Epcot will also usher in 2018 with a countdown fireworks display during the facility's one-night New Year's Eve celebration starting at 11:40 local time.
For the foodie traveler, the World Show Place Restaurant in Epcot will be offering a New Year's Eve buffet on December 31, with prices for adults listed as $72.90. As for cheaper alternatives, California Grill, Chef Mickey's, Monsieur Paul, Todd English's bluezoo Lounge, Victoria & Albert's Chef's Table and several other locations will be open.
At Epcot, Disney will offer visitors the chance to explore the world with the help of DJs as they are immersed in the once-a-year international experience.
Disney Hollywood Studios will also be hosting a DJ dance party starting at 7 p.m. local time, followed by a performance of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at 9 p.m. local time.
Frontierland will host a New Year's celebration dance party on December 30 and December 31. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. local time until the close of Magic Kingdom park.
