The Walt Disney World Resort announced more details about
the holiday season, with Christmas celebrations, seasonal entertainment,
special events, decorations, food, merchandise, and resort offers planned
across the destination, beginning on November 13.
At Magic Kingdom, guests can experience the return of
“Frozen Holiday Surprise,” the Jingle Cruise, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas
Party on select nights. Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will also
continue on non-party nights, while Cinderella Castle receives its annual
holiday transformation.
EPCOT will celebrate the season with the International
Festival of the Holidays, running between November 27 and December 30.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will also receive a holiday soundtrack
from November 25 through January 6, while the Candlelight Processional returns
with celebrity narrators including Jason Kelce, Whoopi Goldberg, and Neil
Patrick Harris.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature several holiday
additions, including The Electric Mayhem’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster holiday
overlay, new music at Alien Swirling Saucers, and the return of “Sunset Seasons
Greetings.” Disney Jollywood Nights will also take place on select nights.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can find Santa at Santa’s
Holiday Grove, see the returning Merry Menagerie, and experience the holiday
version of “Tree of Life Awakenings.” Disney Springs will also feature its
Christmas Tree Stroll, nightly snowfall, seasonal entertainment, and a new
Hallmark holiday pop-up store.
Disney is also offering several ways to save on resort
stays. Disney+ subscribers can get a free Park Hopper add-on and save up to 25%
on select room-and-ticket packages, while other offers include discounts of up
to 20% on select rooms, with additional savings for Florida residents and
Annual Passholders.
