Universal Orlando Resort announced its popular seasonal Dark
Arts at Hogwarts Castle at Universal Islands of Adventure would return this
fall.
The nighttime projection show at the Wizarding World of
Harry Potter will run from September 5 through November 1, bringing Dementors,
Death Eaters, and other creatures from the franchise to life across the façade
of Hogwarts Castle.
Using a combination of lights, music, and special effects,
travelers visiting Universal Orlando will experience Hogsmeade’s castle
transformed into a darker version of Harry Potter, featuring an appearance by
Lord Voldemort.
At Universal Studios Florida, guests will have the
opportunity to encounter Death Eaters in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter –
Diagon Alley.
The interactive experience is scheduled for select dates
from August 27 through November 1.
Now dubbed Knockturn Alley for the events, visitors can
visit Borgin and Burkes for Dark Arts-themed merchandise and collectibles.
With entertainment taking place across both Hogsmeade
and Diagon Alley to celebrate the first film’s 25th anniversary,
travelers will have multiple opportunities to experience the Wizarding World
from a darker perspective this fall.
