Travel lovers rejoiced earlier this year when Barclaycard came out with a new 60,000-mile offer on the personal Aviator card.
But, did you know they have a business card, too?
With the Barclaycard Aviator Business Card, you can earn a stash of miles by signing up and making a single purchase-plus ongoing rewards for using your card for everything you buy.
Here's how the offer works: For a limited time, you'll earn 40,000 American AAdvantage miles after you use your card for at least one purchase within three months of account opening. Beyond the signup bonus, you'll also earn 2x points for every dollar spent on eligible American Airlines purchases; 2x points on office supply, telecom and car rental purchases; and 1x points per $1 spent on everything else.
Other benefits of the card include a five percent mileage bonus every year on your account anniversary, a first checked bag free for you and up to four of your companions, 25 percent off in-flight purchases made with the card, no foreign transaction fees and preferred boarding.
Additionally, you'll get $3,000 Elite Qualifying Dollars (EQD) after using your card for $25,000 in purchases each calendar year. Last, but not least, the Business Aviator card offers a Companion Certificate good for 1 guest at $99, issued each year after your account anniversary when you spend $30,000 or more on eligible purchases.
Keep in mind, however, that the Business Aviator Business Card from Barclaycard does charge an initial $95 annual fee you have to pay to score the signup bonus.
With the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select MasterCard, for example, you'll earn an initial 30,000-60,000 miles after you use your card to meet a minimum spending requirement. While this card charges a $95 annual fee, it is waived for the first year.
