With just nine short months separating us from the end of what has been a bewilderingly long presidential election season, the race has begun in earnest throughout the primary states. In New Hampshire, the airwaves are clogged with political messages, and soon the candidates will be headed to your state to make their case (or at least argue with one another for your amusement).
Not to be left out of the action, the Florida Keys & Key West Tourism Council has jumped in on the electoral bandwagon, rolling out a series of large-format ads at two Washington Metro stations. Seen above, the first draws parallels between the wild plumage of a snowy egret and a certain improbably follicle-d presidential candidate.

"It's a perfect image to play off his (Donald Trump's) challenging hair," said Dorn Martell, vice president of creative for Tinsley Advertising, the TDC's agency that created the ads. "We once used the image before with the headline 'Bad Hair Day,' but it just seemed to translate for the political season."
The rest of the ads contrast campaign buzzwords and lingo against serene scenes of Florida Keys recreation, pitting the destination's laid-back vibe against the dog-eat-dog spectacle of the election. You can check out the rest of the ads in the slideshow below.
